Form 8949

Hello

My client has the sale of land (personal use) that needs to be reported on Sch D via Form 8949.  I cannot open the window to create a new Form 8949.  The selection button is "grayed out".  I've tried several updates to no avail.   Any help in creating the 8949 would be most appreciated.

I think you have to do it from the 1099-B worksheet on the schedule D page, just put None for financial institution then get to the point you can enter the information. That is the only way I see.
