form 1116 Carryback e-file problem

I still can't seem to send my clients' tax returns that include form 1116 carryback/over through electronically even though my software is up to date.

  I appreciate any and all advice.

You have to save the 1116B as a pdf and attach to the federal return. 

When you attach it, be sure you choose 1116 in the drop down menu (you have to scroll UP in the list to find it) for attachment "type", if you choose Other, it may bounce back again.
