Question

Exempt notary income.

My client has 1099s reporting exempt notary income, plus other service income. How do I back out the income exempt from SE taxes?

Search for occurrences of notary.

    Look for the "Schedule SE Adjustments Worksheet".

    Then go down to Line 9 of Part 2.
