Try and go to windows start, scroll to Pro Series 2019, repair updates

How to correct it?  I've uninstalled and reinstalled Pro Series, which will now open but won't open the individual tax files.

I'm having the exact same problem as rileymcinnis.

This problem just occurred this morning.

I have tried to run the same error code 5 fix and it doesn't work.

I'll try restarting my desktop but from the way it sounds... that won't work.

Nope... no good.

I have same issue...I tried running the update and for the last 4 hours it is stuck on 84% progress...this is what the ProSeries Updater status window shows:

 

Self help host assemblies 97%

Total Progress 84%

NOTE: I CAN'T OPEN 2019 OR 2018.
