Equipment Sales

Equipment was sold from a business in 2023 but the business has been closed for over 2 years.  What do I do?

    Who owned the equipment after the business closed?  Was it transferred to the individual owner?  If so, sale of a personal asset is reported on 8949/Schedule D.

      The business was a sole proprietorship
