Electronic payment after extension
Hi all
I filed an extension, paid zero.
Final return s ready to file. TP owes $200, Proseries asks for $199 by check and allows $1 to be deducted electronically. Intuit tells me that if paid zero with the extension, electronic payment is now not possible.
Seems odd, IRS website implies that if I enter todays date I should be able to electronically withdraw.
Any insights much appreciated,
