EIC with TP & SP ITIN

TP & SP are ITIN holders, 2 Dep have SS#. Why is ProSeries calculating EIC??  For Fed and for CA-ST.  Any help is appreciated

You have double checked that the numbers you entered are ITINs, not SSNs?

I thought the program checked for that, but may it doesn't.  If the taxpayer doesn't qualify, just don't say the kids qualify for EIC when you enter the dependents.

    I believe they DO qualify for CA EITC
