EIC Prior year earned income

Thank you so much for taking time to answer. Client had earned income in 2019 more than 2021 but had been an other dependent in parents return. Can I use lookback rule and put 2019 earned income for client if supposed to file for 2021 return individually? Client age is 25.

Yes.  There is no restriction about being a former dependent.
