I'm a new user on the pro series and have just submitted for my EFIN number.  The only number I can enter is the application tracking number.  I don't have a EFIN yet.  The system will take my application without an EFIN.  What should I enter or should I just wait until I get the actual approval notice?

You need the EFIN to be issued by IRS.   EFIN applications can take upwards of 45 days to be issued.  Yu really should have submitted it back last fall.

Once its been issued, then you print a copy of the EFIN application from EServices and send that to Intuit so they can update your license.

Until you have the EFIN you wont be able to Efile, you can still prepare fn file paper returns though..
