efile 2021 on 2023

I can't change the PIN date on  2021 to 01/23/2023, and I got files rejected because of the date is 2022

When you efile the return use a current 2023 date. You'll get an error. The error is okay because the 2021 software is ignorant.  

When you efile the return, uncheck (disable) the 'error checking' It will be find.

The reject message verbiage says something like that .

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround
