The IRS isn't accepting submissions until Feb 12th. You should sign up for their e-newsletter, so that you would have seen this come across today.

Same issue. Trying to E-file 2019 tax returns & extensions, not 2020. Is the IRS E-File open for previous year tax return submissions? Do we have to wait until February 12th to file 2019? Have some FY filings and older returns to file, but not transmitting to Intuit. Files are being converted, but not transmitted to Intuit.
