E-filed state return with incorrect social security number

Client gave me their social security number but it was off one digit . I had them check their return before I processed  it but they still did not catch their error.  Federal tax return was not accepted and I was able to correct it but the state was accepted with the incorrect SSN. How do I fix this as the client is supposed to receive a refund.

If the state does not reject you'll likely have to amend but give them a day or two and they may reject it
