e-file for UEC credit

we have to send the files again to the IRS with the new UEC credit on them or will the IRS automatically send customers their additional refund?

Is UEC unemployment compensation? If so the IRS has already stated that for returns already filed before the tax law change was inputted into our software, that the IRS will handle the matter and we are not to file amended returns... Look on this forum for yourself just to be sure. Just my opinion

    The IRS will not calculated additional credits, therefore you need to amend those returns to get additional credits. The IRS will only give the refund for reduced taxable income. ProSeries has jumped the gun and not allowing the option to amend the original return.
