E-file error

Send Error, Your request was not understood by the e-filing service. - Invalid XML. cvc-type.3.1.3. The value 'MY FIRM NAME' of element 'senderEmail' is not valid. Please verify that your application program is up-to-date.

Return not transmitted.

 

I have been working with Proseries personnel for over 4 days on this issue. Any advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Haven’t heard of this error before? Assuming you’ve tried updates, diagnostics verify internet etc.    Has it been working until recently? Is this first year w PS or has it worked previously?

if all else fails (including tech support and local IT) … backup client files to a new directory, uninstall PS, reboot, and reinstall program. PITA  and last resort

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround
