Does CA 540 automatically exclude lottery winnings?

If you mark the gambling winnings as state lottery in the Other Information , it should show up as an adjustment on the Schedule CA line 8b

    I havent had a lottery winner in a number of years, doesnt just filling out the CA state lottery EIN on the W2G make it recognize it as CA lottery winnings?
