Question

Difference between ProSeries "Basic" and "pro"

I just watched the hr long webinar on ProSeries and he mentioned a "basic" version vs a "pro".  I have the Basic which I will do only individual 1040's.  What are the features of "pro" that are not included in Basic?

Thanks

If you are only doing individual returns, you probably chose the correct version for yourself.  Once upon a time, Intuit provided a chart to compare the two, but I don't see that they still provide the comparison.  I use the Pro version and based on posts here over the years, I know it is overall a little more flexible than the basic version.

When I log into my dashboard to download my purchased product, both the Professional and Basic appear equal in availability to download. My invoice reads I purchased Basic, so I'm confused as to why it seems I can download Professional. Does this makes sense to anyone else?

@sobie3 You can still use Professional on per per return mode.

I bought the Basic + 50 returns, so I wouldn't use the pay per return. Does it matter which I download? I don't want a surprise charge for downloading the Professional version.
