When you have a depreciation sheet from someone who went to someone different last year. How do I put in the depreciation this year? Does just using the old date make pro series take into consideration that 1 year of depreciation was already used? Thanks for your help. Sorry I’m more new at this

You'll need to input the prior depreciation on the asset entry worksheet.

On this years depreciation worksheet you enter the prior year depreciation figures.  I'm not sitting at my screen currently, but on this years worksheet it will ask for specific information for the asset...prior accumulated depreciation, life, date placed in service...etc.  Just take the figures off of that sheet and input them into ProSeries.

Does this go for rental house depreciation as well?
