Divorced parents live apart. Two kids live all year with mother - custodial parent. Mother sign form 8332 for one child. Do I need put both kids under dependent list with code L and check boxes "not for child credit" for one kid

or

one kid under dependent list and one under status Head of household  as a qualifying person but not dependent?

If it is only that child you would have to also list info up behind head of household.  but since you have another that is all you need for Head of House.

Try changing the one you signed away to a Q instead of an L.
