Caps lock in log in screen

This drives me crazy,  or am I doing something wrong when the caps lock on doesn't show in the log on screen

Oh, theres a trick to get it to show up!!     

On the sign in screen, if you Right click on the Intuit Logo at the top of the window and choose Compatibility Mode, the Caps Lock warning message comes back.
