On CA  Form 3558A, Line 12 has the correct answer $0 because client has no net income, even though the K-1 carried in $25,000 for Section 179, yet the line has an error. Is this a programmer error or what? Anyone know?

is there other 179 depreciation on the return making it too much for CA to allow for one year?
