I still cannot file a federal return due to error message for the advanced premium tax credit.  Any idea when the program will finally get updated for this?

    i still have 2 myself waiting for the fix. the software is giving the client a deduction on schedule 1 for a self employed health insurance deduction for the same amount that does not need to be pay back.

    it appears that they are not allowing BOTH.

      Who "they"?

      And if expenses paid by forgiven PPP loans can be deducted, why not health insurance paid by forgiven APTC?

      Maybe it's worth waiting until IRS offers an opinion.  Then, maybe it's worth waiting until "they" change their mind.
