Amending 2020 CA return ( Form 540)
Where do you mark on Form 540 that the return you are filing is amended? The instruction says "check the box on top of Form 540 indicating amended return" but I don't see that box on the Info Wks. I completed Schedule X but I am not sure if it is enough. I saw the "Special Condition Text" that I could use to type in Amended on top of the form but is it the proper way to do it? I realize that 540X is no longer used.
