Allowable moving expense

Would the unreimbursed cost of relocating a pet (dog) as part of a military PCS duty station change, be an allowable moving expense deduction? Would the Pet be considered a member of the household or the personal effects of a household member?

Yes, it is allowed so long as all the other conditions for moving expense deduction are met.
