AL State Return Form 40 Problem
I have received the error message as below.
Error Detail:
'Total Income, Form 40, Pg. 1, line 8, must equal the sum of lines 5, 6, and 7.'
After I reviewed the Alabama State Return, I found that the sum is correct.
The calculation is as below:
line 5b wage: $37,297, line 6 interest & dividend: $450, line 7 other income: $2,101
line 8 total income: $39,848
Please let me know what the problem is.
