2023 install error on entitlement client code 1618

I found this about repairing the Entitlement client, but if this error started from the get-go at installation, I think Id Uninstall, reboot the computer then reinstall from scratch....but you can try this if youd like

You could also download the ProSeries Tools Hub, it might help with this as well, as its handy to have if you need it in the future.

Error 1618 is typically returned when Windows believes an installer is already running.  This post on Microsoft forum has some suggestions to try. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/error-code-1618-when-trying-to-install-new/fb4e98b3-59d9-4cfd-916c-215502864bce if that does not resolve the issue you may need to work with your local IT or Microsoft support to determine what is blocking the install from running.
