2020 Michigan Amended Return

I am trying to e-file a 2020 Michigan Amended Return. Everything looks right and I checked the Amended return transmission box but it comes back with the Red hand saying not transmitted???

Are you attempting to EF from the EFcenter or from within a client return?

I tried it from both places. The Michigan Amended Return bar says ready and I click the box but after it goes through the usual transmission phase I get the message that says not transmitted with the red hand.
