1040X and 1040

I have amended the Federal and State. Ready to e-file the federal and noticed the 1040X amount due

does not match the 1040 amoujnt of refund. I called support and was told it would be updated and corrected within hours. That was 2 days ago. Any ideas or fixes yet???

As stated: I amended a 1040 return. When I printed it out the 1040X showed an amount due and the

amended 1040 shows a refund.

So the new 1040 should show what the return should have looked like from the beginning if it had been prepared correctly.

The 1040X will show the difference between what was filed originally and the corrected version.

Without seeing what you have in front of you, I cant tell you if whats yore seeing is correct or not.
