1040/1040SR Wks

What is the purpose of the 1040/1040SR Wks ?   There is already a 1040 worksheet and all the necessary schedules worksheets ( 1, 2, 3, et.), so why this worksheet?  When I click to zoom to a schedule from the 1040 my cursor just ends up in a duplicate field in this new worksheet - it seems useless and just gets in the way ?

They are one in the same worksheet.  It says Form 1040 or Form 1040-SR worksheet.  I do not use the 1040-SR.

It's there because there is a new 1040-SR form. I won't use it.

    Yes I see that, but even when you check the box not to use the 1040SR the cursor still jumps into the worksheet.  It should go away when you check not to use it.
