Use a mask & a gun?

If you actually mean "retrieve/recall" one you've already sent - you can't.  Hope for a rejection/prepare to amend.

    I thought that would happen. But I only wanted to delay when my client would have to send in a check. He still has until May 15, doesn’t he?

    Yep.

    No different than filing in February, paying in April when that was the due date.
