Customize tax return sent with e-file authorization form

I was wondering if there was a way to send the customized client copy of the tax return when sending with the e-file authorization form. As of right now, I think you can only send the complete client copy. Can someone verify please? Thank you!

This is a useful suggestion. I encourage you to post it in the suggestions section.

Because I need to add my signature and discard certain pages, I never send the LC tax return with the authorizations. Instead, I send my customized tax return separately in an email. Here is the message I send:

Dear 

1. Here is a secure link to download your tax returns. The link will expire so please remember to download it.  Share the link only with trusted people.

Remember to save the documents to your computer. That link will expire.

2. I have sent the filing authorization forms from DocuSign to you. You might need to check your Junk folder.  After you sign the forms, I will be sent a notification. Then I will sign the tax return.

After you sign the forms, I will get a notification, then I will file the tax returns.

3. $   is my fee.  The bill with payment instructions is attached.

4. Thank you for choosing me to be your tax accountant.
