is 2022 closed for e-filing
I just tried to e-file a 2022 amendment and I got a failure message that the tax year is closed for e-filing..

That's correct.
You can do current year and two prior years.
So as of today, 2/22/26, you can efile 2025, 2024, and 2023.
The more I know the more I don’t know.
