From others’ experience, is it faster to fax Form 2848 to Ogden, UT or try to call the Practioner’s Line and fax it to an agent? I have tried twice to call the Practioner’s Line and was hung up on due to heavy call volume. Or is it faster to try to upload it to the IRS website? I need to order a Wage & Income Transcript for a client who has dementia and hasn’t provided all his tax documents.
