When is 990 going to be ready for filing? Instructions completed and this message out.

Federal Form 990-EZ is final, but the instructions are still in draft. If you file the return, there is the potential that calculations could change, and that you may need to file an amended return when the instructions are final.

No one knows except Intuit. As you said, the instructions were published on Jan 12 (even before the form was released by Intuit for Lacerte/PTO on Jan 20 with this untimely diagnostic). What you can do is the check this webpage periodically and see if there's any update: https://lfs.intuit.com/#/s/US/R

@IntuitBettyJo Hi, BettyJo, the form was released by Intuit for Lacerte/PTO on Jan 20 with a diagnostic that says the instructions are not yet final when, indeed, the final version was published by the IRS on Jan 12. Could you please have the developers confirm whether these returns can now be e-filed and, if so, remove the diagnostic? Thanks!
