Federal return rejected - dependent error
Hello
We are trying to figure out why our federal return has been rejected, the error message is the following:
"This return has been rejected by the IRS because a dependent on this tax return, has filed their own tax return without indicating they would be claimed as a dependent."
We already filed dependents return and upon checking I can see we actually selected option 3: Claimed as a dependent.
Is there anything else that we could be missing? What could cause this rejection?
