EFiling 1040X

I am trying to efile a 1040x and I get the following critical diagnostic error:

Form 1040: Form 1040-X is included in this return. This return must be e-filed as an amended return. Please use E-file Amendment options in the File Return.

So I went in "File Return" and clicked on E-File Amendment but then I go back to check the diagnostic errors and the message is still there.

What am I doing wrong?

I had the same issue, and it won't go away, just ignore it.

    I would go ahead and try to send it with that critical error, but the Idaho return is in red on the 'File Return' tab and I need it to go as a state amended too.  I guess I will probably have to call Intuit on Monday.

      Got it resolved.  Thanks.  I just had to IGNORE the critical error.
