Duplicate SSN
Trying to efile state file but it is tagged "Duplicate SSN/EIN". I tried to transmit but it would not. My Clients have 3 states returns. The state file has the same SSN as the Federal file and another state file (the husband"s). The other state file has the wife's SSN. I must explain that I did a Split MFJ Return because the Clients wanted to file married filing separately on the state returns. Has anyone had this issue or know how to resolve it.
