Create a Software Expense for each business type
Hey everyone. At this point, every single client has a software expense. Now we have the most general expenses on each input form, even if they aren’t on the form itself, such as Accounting, or Legal and Professional, or Payroll Taxes.
Create an input for Software expenses. It can drop down to Other Expenses on the Schedule C, 1120S, 1120, 1065, that’s fine. I’ve created so many “other expense” lines for software expense that it should be an input at this point. I could see you grouping it in Office Expense too.
It wouldn’t hurt to add this for 2026.
