ITIN applications

Has anybody heard anything recently about the turnaround time for ITIN applications.  We filed a paper return with the W-7 the first week in March.  We're now at about 90 days, and the only thing the "Where's my Refund" page says is its in process.  Has the IRS addressed this issue in any manner.

    I also wanted know about ITIN applications. If anybody has any idea?

    It took about 6 months.  No explanation, no indication on the refund app except in process, then they got the ITIN and the expected refund.  I guess that's the standard waiting time for now.
