Submitted by LisaWM a week agoWe have used Lacerte for many many years now, highly disappointed this tax filing season with the critical e file diagnostics with forms being final but not the IRS instructions, and if you file the return without instructions being final it may cause an Amended return. Example form 8960
Seriously we are end of February and refuse to e-file some clients because of this issue, we don't want to make extra work for ourselves.
Our Associate in office uses Ultra Tax and he has been able to file clients with this 8960 form since the day tax season opened.
come on Lacerte get your act together, we pay a lot of money for the software.
