We are buying a practice that has Pro Series tax software. We have Lacerte. Is there a conversion of ProSeries to Lacerte available so we don't have to type in all new Pro Series clients into Lacerte? Please advise if anyone knows.
Thanks!!

Went through this same conversion in 2018. Unless there have been a lot of changes, it was very clumsy. It helped to have the information from Pro Series to Lacerte but the differences in the two softwares (which are many) were very evident. I still had to go through each return to make changes. But at least the bulk of the information was there. Good luck. I would not do it again.
