E-FILING RETURN ERROR

Jessica5
Level 2

When I am validating a return to e-file, an "Output File Name" box appears and I save the file but still cannot e-file my return.

I know this box sometimes comes up with DMS Database, I know how to fix that issue.  But never had it come up when e-filing a return.

How do I correct this issue, need to e-file return!

@Jessica5 You can access the PDF repair tool from within Lacerte:

  1. Click your F10 key to open the Lacerte Technical Support Info window. (Help > Troubleshoot)
  2. Click the Utilities drop-down menu and select PDF Repair.

This will allow you to run the repair tool without having to download it first.

Try the new Lacerte Tool Hub https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/help-articles/help/fix-common-problems-and-errors-with-the-l... It has a printer (pdf) repair tool. This sounds like that type of error.

@IntuitBettyJo is this an unexpected behavior that has been reported to Lacerte?

Thanks for the info.  I am not allowed to download and install the Lacerte Tool Hub file.  Microsoft blocks the download stating unsafe.

Any other ideas?
