What does this error exception mean? Exception occurred attempting to print pdf for client.
The client’s e-file status (F4) on the e-file Statu tab shows Passed Validation.
The E-file center shows e-file status = passed validation, next steps = start e-file return wizard.
The return fails validation due to an error: exception and provides a hyper link. When I click on the hyper link it says:
“exception occurred attempting to print pdf(s) for client. You do not have sufficient rights to install printer drivers. To resolve please rerun setup or contact your system administrator.”
Typically if the return has an error: exception, the send e-file returns now button is still available to send the return. In this case, it is grayed out and the return is not available to e-file.
