The more I know the more I don’t know.

Actually, just realized my question was incomplete.  The question should have been, "Can a nondeductible IRA be funded by a taxpayer after the tax return was efiled, if the nondeductible IRA was not reported on the tax return?"  I did some research on my own and found that a separate form 8606 can be filed and will be timely if filed and funded before tax return due date i.e. 4/15.
