Is there a shortcut to last year's data in this year's program?

No. Open last year's program on another monitor. Make sure LY's returns are locked so you don't enter stuff in the wrong year.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Many (not all) of the current year's screens give you last years data in a column to the right.

I agree with sjrcpa and mojocpa, but I go one more step. I make alternate line shading different for each year. I generally like grey, so I reserve it for the current year. Each year with a new year release, I pick some garish color for the now last year. That helps to insure I don't enter into into the wrong year. Settings > Options > Fonts & Colors > Alternate Line Shading.

P.S. Short answer is NO
