Has anyone experienced Lacerte application hangs with Windows 10 version 1903?

Has anyone seen application hangs when using Windows 10 version 1903 and the data on a Windows Server 2012-R2 share using a mapped drive letter? We are seeing that Windows Defender real-time scanning has to be disabled to not have these application hangs. We have applied all the folder exclusions and more as recommended in the Lacerte AV article. If the data is placed on a desktop OS drive share the delays do not occur. The server is not taxed at all. Everything is super fast.

TY for the reply. We are not having an installation issue. The installed and fully updated app hand randomly during use. Lacerte states a domain based configuration is - not - supported.
