Form 8879 SID Submission ID number does not populate like last year

After efiling a tax return, the Form 8879 SID number used to populate. Is this on purpose? Thanks -

I doubt it's on purpose, probably just a programming glitch. FYI, I note the submission ID in the client acknowledgement letter that I provide to the client.

If you want to dig into why it's not on the 8879, you'd probably need to call Support. This is designed to be a peer exchange forum. Support team members rarely look/engage in this forum.
