Export Data for Selected Clients

Selling part of my practice. I want to give the buyer only certain tax clients (Individual, S Corp, Partnership, Corp) from Lacerte 2020. What is the best method of doing this?

1) Get permission from your clients to 'share' their confidential information.  And it is their choice as to whether they want to be "sold" to someone.

2) You can either back up each client's data to a flash drive; then give that to the new preparer.  Or, you can send the entire file via email.   (Client > Send via email ... follow the instructions.
