error message

I can't seem to get ANYONE to pick up line at Lacerte support.

Getting following message:

DoBeforeInitialize: Exception = Error initializing config.

Access violation at address 006D382A in module 'w20tax.exe'. Read of address 00000000

I installed program back in December and had no problems accessing then. Now, I can't access due to above error message.

I've gotten no help from support line.

Has anyone experienced this? I appreciate any help.

1) Close then restart the program

2) Hard reboot

3) Use WebSetUp & reinstall the program; forcing it even if it says you are up-to-date.

Report back if none of those work.... I know I've seen that error message before.

I've seen it, too. Usually 1 and 2 work.
