E-filed Amended Returns

Any recommendations for preparing an amendment that was done, but the accepted e-file return is in another desktop machine?

Can I copy the accepted file back to our remote drive, or can it only be prepared on the same desktop machine?

Maybe I'm still tipsy from lunch but it doesn't seem Amended was prepared following the instructions as posted for Lacerte

How do I amend an individual return (1040X) in Lacerte?
