Can I efile through Lacerte up until midnight EST

The e-file time stamp is based on your local time zone. If it's 3/16 at your desk, you're good.

Yes and until sometime in November for 1040s and December for business returns.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

Sorry, What I meant was do they end the day at five or midnight. when do they change the date to March 17th.
